| hey guys, great news! the word is officially out and folks everywhere are buzzin. random folks of all ages have contacted us, stopped us in town asking questions, called us, sent text and e-mail messages, facebooked and otherwise with incredibly great feedback! i just though i'd update you and tell u all how very grateful we are for all your help with this grassroots gathering. In one month shy of a year’s time this little get together has grown to see upwards of 300 youths gather and unknown dedications to Christ take place and needless to say we are amazed. News has spread almost exclusively through word of mouth, 751 young people as we speak (or rather I type) have been invited to this weeks kick off and it goes without saying its all because of u. So with this message/book I though I’d let u in on the buzz, what to expect and let u know (if u don’t already) what the net is all about. The buzz, the questions and much of the conversation though most all positive have been inquisitive of simply this: what is “it” and what is “it” all about. our answer is that “the net” is simply a young people’s gathering with no pretensions centered not around churches or denominations but a God that provides an alternate lifestyle for young people. beyond the emptiness, darkness and perversion we desire to see young people living in the fullness, the freedom and the marvelous light made freely available in Jesus Christ. 1st John 1:5 In (pun intended) light of this we're left only three short days and actually only two school days to get everyone we possibly can hooked up and plugged into this light socket if u will. I can’t wait to see u all and worship with u again!

| looks like the net will yet be put off one more month... maybe march before the first one although we will likely have a huge couple of individual kick off sampler concerts at select local schools or atleast a big opening deal at the church or something. There's so many new things that'll go into the net this time (not the same old stuff) that the additional preparation for the initial kick-off forced a slight extention to the already long layoff. Though the delay has put off immediate nettidge and such when the net cycle does return it will be more righteous than ever. I'm pumped and can't wait 2 see u all there!  | Currently Listening

i've been rockin' this 4 or 5 song ep from matt but really i've been jammin' his touring mate dave barnes first ep more than this one but it didn't come up on the seach. none the less both guys are unbelievable songwriters and will be sampled at the net!
